Do You Love your Dog as Much as I Love Mine?
I love dogs, so if you're thinking about including your pup in your wedding, I'm all for it! There's nothing sweeter than having your four-legged friend by your side on the big day.
First off, make sure your dog is well-behaved and accustomed to crowds. If your pup is more likely to run laps around the guests than pose for photos, you might want to rethink their starring role. Or, at least, give them a supporting part where a "sit" and "stay" command won't be too much to ask.
And trust me, you’ll need a dedicated handler—seriously, assign someone you trust to keep your dog in check so you're not chasing them down the aisle or dealing with unexpected "presents"…let’s be real—dogs get excited, and you definitely don't want to be the one cleaning up Doggy Do instead of saying "I Do." Also, if you’re planning on getting married in public spaces, you’ll be obliged to keep your poochmaid on a leash. And remember, pooches are not allowed in the region’s National Parks, so keep that in mind when choosing your location.
Ultimately, if your dog is part of your family, it makes perfect sense to have them there as part of your big day. Just make sure you plan ahead so it's all fun and no stress. And hey, if the worst thing that happens is your dog steals the show with some adorable antics, well, at least they’ll be cute doing it!
P.S. Don't forget the bow tie or flower crown—because if your dog is going to be in your wedding photos, they should look fabulous too!
